Question for any friendly women out there with an honest answer please.?
Hi! I currently live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and, as alot of other singles out there my age can attest to, there is absolutely ZERO dating scene in this city UNLESS you were born and raised here. Long story short, I got a job out here after getting out of the Marine Corps, got laid off, and started going to a two year college and am looking to transfer to a four year university. Do any of you gals from the south out there think that I would fit in better in Texas since I am from the volunteer state originally myself? Colorado is indeed a very scenic state and all, but the women here aren't approachable and I would at least like to date, but that is impossible when men and women are as stuck up as they are here in this town. I plan on applying to both UT Austin and A&M. Not that I'm ashamed of my home state or anything, but UT-Knoxville's football team has become the laughing stock of the SEC conference and I feel that that school is just a little too much about the football versus academics (nope, I'm not being a snob by saying that). Not only that, but I don't want to live that close to my dad as we have bad blood unfortunately. So, what do you think about my idea of wanting to move to Texas for my last two years of college? Do you think that I would stand a better chance of being able to date in Texas as long as I keep a positive attitude?
