I'm Having Trouble Throwing Boxing Combinations While leaving myself too open for attacks.?

Remember to use all of your punches. The jab is great if you're reach is better than your opponents. You can also sneak in a right uppercut between your opponents hands if they're really after you. Left hook; your right hand should be against your face like you're talking on the phone. Leaving your right hand away as you throw a left hook will always leave a big opening. Watch Bernard Hopkins fight. He's a defensive master and a great boxer, but he wasn't always the fastest. He is a technical boxer, not so much talented. He "learned" to box. There's a good clip of him slipping a punch and knocking a guy out with a counter combination. Just look up Hopkins Lipsey on youtube. That clip should come up.
