Doesn't McCain's "Country First" slogan sound a little too greedy?

...like he's saying it's MY country first, and I'm first if I'm the president, and first we're going to care about the USA and then we'll care about the rest of the world, and even the very childish USA is "number one" kinda bloated pride? I mean, when it comes to world issues and international policies, why is he creating a preplanned hierarchy that says screw the rest of the world?
