Question about how people percieve intelligence?

first of all people are normally ashamed of having to be tutored. also i believe that no one is really intelligent. i mean intelligence is just remebering facts and writing them down in a cetain way. yet again i believe everyone is intelligent. for example me myself i am pretty good at problem solving but suck at psychology. so am i thick or clever?
