What should my bro wear to walk me down the isle?

Getting married this august and wedding is low budget and casual. Don't know what a father would wear and anyway he is my brother. Can't decide whether to have him in a tux or nice slacks n nice shirt. Groomsmen will be in tuxes if helps. Thanks.
