Sorta a english vs. western Question?

I did barrel racing and reining when I was young on my mom's old QH mare, but when I turned 5 or 6, I started doing dressage. Then I moved onto hunter/jumper(equitation and hunters), and now I do eventing. I do eventing because I got sick of just having to look pretty on the horse, and I like being capable of doing the most demanding of all horse sports. Quite frankly, I think western riding looks lazy(not that it is, it just looks it)
