Should I just suck it up and go for the tattoo?

If it means a lot to you then definitely go for it! My only advice is that I think with that much detail the tattoo would have to be pretty big or you might have to take out some of the surrounding erflies. Go and talk to a tattoo artisit, if you like it then get it.
