Linkys router?

Ok i just baught a router from walmart justb ring it home and i but the cd in and followed the insturctions and i go all the way were it says reading computer settings and then it well ask for a a pword and so i just use the default pword and it well load all that then when it reaches 100% it well ask for the pword agin and agin agin what do i do please help ..
