Is Republican David Vitter's bid for reelection hampered by his heavy use of prostitutes or is that old news?

Republicans really have a double standard on moral issues. The most anti-gay Republicans turn out to be gay themselves. The big morality fighters turn out to be corrupt. And any Republican who is accused of a crime has no problem convincing voters the charges are entirely political. In fact Republicans seem to think that laws and moral rules only really apply to Democrats.
